The Star Sheriffs are attacked by an unseen enemy who turns out to be a little cowboy living alone in the hills. He leads the Star Sheriffs to a secret Outrider Installation. The Outriders have made slaves of the local people, forcing them to work in the mines. The Star Sheriffs manage to raid the mines, carrying out a daring Operation, freeing the townspeople and defeating the Outriders and their Renegade Unit.
